When those muscles take a break, the skin on top can smooth out, which helps with wrinkle reduction in areas like the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes. We use BOTOX®, Dysport® and Daxxify® and while they’re slightly different in formulation, they all work in a similar way.

Daxxify®
Daxxify®, the newest option in the group, stands out for how long it lasts. Results can hold for up to six months or more, which means fewer visits throughout the year. Before your appointment, you will want to avoid blood thinners, alcohol and certain supplements for a day or two to help minimize bruising.
Procedure
During the neuromodulator treatment, we use a very fine needle to inject small amounts into specific facial muscles. The process usually takes less than 15 minutes.
Recovery
You can resume most normal activities immediately after your appointment. Minor bruising or swelling at the injection sites are the most common side effects.
Results
Full results can take anywhere from a couple of days to two weeks, and your result will last three to six months, depending on which product you choose.
