Your BBL HERO journey begins with a thorough consultation at MSpa. We’ll evaluate your skin and create a personalized treatment plan based on your goals. To prepare for your session, you’ll need to avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tanners for at least two weeks. We may also recommend pausing certain skincare ingredients, like retinoids or exfoliants, in the days leading up to your appointment.

During a BBL HERO treatment, your provider will glide the handpiece across your skin. You’ll experience bright flashes of light and a sensation similar to a warm pulse. There’s typically no need for numbing cream, as the built-in cooling technology keeps you comfortable throughout the procedure. Depending on the areas being treated, your session may take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.

Immediately after treatment, your skin may appear flushed, similar to a mild sunburn. This typically subsides within a few hours. Brown spots may initially darken, then gradually flake off over the next seven to 14 days. You can return to most of your normal activities immediately, though we recommend avoiding intense exercise, hot showers and alcohol for 24 hours. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen daily!

BBL HERO results appear as your skin regenerates. Many patients notice significant improvements in pigmentation within two to three weeks. Benefits like reduced redness, improved texture and diminished fine lines continue to develop over several months. For optimal results, we typically recommend a series of three to four treatments spaced one month apart, followed by annual maintenance.
