There’s no prep required beyond arriving with skin that is free of makeup, lotion, or sunscreen. If you’re prone to cold sores, we might recommend a preventive antiviral medication. We will adjust your treatment settings depending on your unique skin tone and concerns, and walk you through everything so you feel informed and ready.
The treatment itself typically takes about 15 to 30 minutes, but this can vary depending on the size of the treatment area. We can apply a topical numbing cream before the session.
